CONSIDER TEACHING IN CATHOLIC EDUCATION: Are you a Catholic teacher or headteacher working outside the Catholic sector? If so, would you consider applying for a job in one of our diocesan schools? Diocesan Director of Education Kieron Flood will be hosting an on-line briefing for all those who are interested, Tuesday 25 March, 6-7pm. ANNUNCIATION MASS AT SCARTHINGWELL: 25 March 6.30pm. The Rudgate Singers will accompany a solemn Mass at the historic church of the Immaculate Conception, Scarthingwell, LS24 9PH. The music will include Gregorian and Byzantine chant. A retiring collection will be taken for the church’s restoration fund.
LENTEN DAY OF REFLECTION: Saturday 29 March. Fr Dennis Cassidy will lead a day of exploration on the Lenten theme of forgiveness and healing at The Briery Retreat Centre, Ilkley. £42pp to include morning coffee, a 2-course lunch and afternoon tea. DIOCESE OF LEEDS COMMUNITY CHOIR CONCERT 'GLORY TO THEE': Sunday 30 March, 4pm, Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Moortown. Admission Free with retiring collection. The debut concert of the Diocese of Leeds Community Choir will feature music by Mendelssohn, Stanford and Rutter, directed by Michael Burt.
CHRISM MASS: The annual Chrism Mass will take place on Wednesday of Holy Week (16 April) at Leeds Cathedral at 11:00am. The sacred oils of Chrism, Catechumens and the Sick, used throughout the Diocese, will be blessed at the annual celebration. Our priests will also renew their priestly promises. All welcome to attend.
‘PILGRIMS OF HOPE’ – RETREAT WEEKEND: 25 – 27 April. Individual places are available on this parish retreat weekend at The Briery, beginning before supper on Friday evening and running Sunday afternoon. £190pp fully inclusive (non-residential £70pp). MEET THE PILGRIMS: All pilgrims joining the Diocesan Lourdes pilgrimage are welcome to attend a coffee and biscuits afternoon at Hinsley Hall. DEMENTIA FRIENDS ONLINE TRAINING: Leeds Diocese older people’s charity Growing Old Grace-fully and Age Friendly Leeds are offering free online training for people in the Diocese to learn how to become Dementia Friends. Tuesday 29 April, 7 – 8pm.

LENT AND EASTER AT ST PAUL'S BOOKSHOP, HINSLEY HALL: St Paul's Bookshop at Hinsley Hall will be carrying a wide range of Lenten and Easter reading and devotional material for adults and children, and a good selection of Easter cards to send to family and friends.
